Established in the spring of 1998, Woody's Library Restaurant is a unique bi-level restaurant serving Sunday brunch, lunch and dinner. Locally owned by Richelle and Kevin Rider, this independent restaurant is a perfect find for those looking for a memorable and personal dining experience.
Woody's Library Restaurant is a renovated Carnegie Library that was originally built in 1913. This historic landmark is located in Carmel's Arts & Design District and offers free internet access for its patrons. Woodys is in the heart of downtown on Main Street, just east of Rangeline. Woodys is a popular stop as locals browse the art galleries and eclectic boutiques in the district.
The upstairs is a cozy retreat that resembles the original library design with vaulted ceilings and warm wood furnishings. Our library shelves feature works of art created by local artisans and a unique collection of books donated by our customers. A wrap around deck that overlooks Main Street is available for outdoor dining & socializing.
Our Executive Chef creates an eclectic rotating dinner menu full of seasonal specials. Woodys wine list has been given the Indy's Top 10 Wine List award and is a great value for glass pours and bottle selections. The Sunday brunch menu features a wide variety of plated options including crêpes and Eggs Benedict.
The downstairs is a smoke-free neighborhood pub featuring a two hundred twenty-five gallon saltwater fish tank overlooking a casual dining area. We are proud to offer sport fans the opportunity to watch their favorite teams with satellite packages for MLB, NFL, NCAA and Big Ten Network. Our chalkboard announces the specials of the day and upcoming events.
